Jintan has a long history of producing tea. According to the county's first volume, “Xiangdizhi”, it was recorded: “Jintan is located in the county, and special products include japonica rice and tea”. In 1923, the "Jintan County Chronicle" stated: "Tea is good, Yukaoka is good, and there is a good person out of the mountains."

In 1982, relevant researchers of Jintan County developed Jintan Bugle Tea on the basis of summarizing the experience of traditional tea and tea collection. According to the Jintan County name and the tea shape at that time, it was named Jintan Bulu. After the successful development of Jintan Buxus, he won the award in many famous tea competitions and won the title of National Famous Tea.
