New quinoquinone added to feed was successfully developed

Researcher Zhao Liancai of Lanzhou Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences presided over the topic of National Special Chemicals “Development and Application of Quinoenone for Feed Addition of New Drugs”. Experts organized by the Department of Industrial Science and Technology of the State Science and Technology Commission and the National Feed Industry Office of the Ministry of Agriculture in Lanzhou Acceptance and identification of the results. Through chemical synthesis, pharmacological experiments, toxicological experiments, clinical experiments, intermediate experiments, and popularization and application, the project shows that quinoquinone is used as a new feed for livestock and poultry, and has significant resistance to diseases and growth for pigs and chickens. With a weight rate of more than 10%, the feed conversion rate can be significantly increased and the incidence of diarrhea can be reduced by more than 50%. "Quinoenone" has low toxicity and is only 25% of the commonly used drug "Olaquindox" at home and abroad. No long-term addition of feed has no adverse effects.
