Wheat combine harvester operation essentials

Correct operation of the combine harvester can avoid machine malfunctions and improve work efficiency.
First, start. Start with a steady increase in the throttle, and then cut when the harvester reaches the rated speed. When obstacles need to turn or rewind, they must raise the header, reduce the throttle, and stop cutting.
Second, the operating speed. Under normal circumstances, the use of II block operation. When the wheat is dense, the plants are large, and the yield is high, the I block operation can be adopted; when the wheat is sparse, short, and the yield is low, the III block operation can be adopted. In the morning and evening when there is dew or rain after work, the speed of wheat straw should be slower because of the dampness of wheat straw; and the wheat straw can be dried faster before and after noon.
Third, reel speed. Under normal circumstances, its peripheral speed should be 1.5 times the speed of the unit forward, not only to ensure that the reel wheel will cut the wheat to the cutter, but also to avoid the reel speed too fast to destroy the wheat to cause losses.
Fourth, the cutting range. When the load is allowed, work should be done at full or near full width. At this time, the operation efficiency is the highest, but do not miss the cut to reduce the harvest loss.
Fifth, the height of the header. To facilitate post-cutting cultivation, cuttings should be kept as low as possible. This is also an important measure for harvesting lodging lodging wheat and reducing ear cuttings and ear leakage. However, the height of the header should not be less than 6 cm in order to avoid cutting the soil and accelerating the wear of the cutter. According to the requirements of the operational quality standards, the maximum cutting height must not exceed 15cm.
Six, walking route. One is to use a clockwise rotation to harvest; the other is to take a counterclockwise rotation to harvest. In order to facilitate the unloading of grain on the left side, the use of clockwise rotary harvesting has been adopted.
