At present, the Joint Food Additives Expert Committee of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Health Organization assess the risk of sulphur dioxide as a food additive: the permissible daily intake is 0 mg to 0.7 mg per kilogram of body weight in terms of sulphur dioxide, ie An adult weighing 60 kg, the daily intake of sulfur dioxide does not exceed 42 mg.
