According to the quality analysis of the Rice and Products Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, all the quality of Yueyou 938 reached the national grade gb/t17891-1999 grading standard for quality rice. Of the 12 indicators tested, 8 were awarded as Guoguoyou Class 1, 4 items. Da Guo Guo 2 and General Guo Da Guo You Class 2 standards, especially rice appearance quality and cooking quality are excellent. In 1997, it was identified by the Jiangsu Plant Protection Station that Yueyou 938 showed resistance to all four Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae strains, namely ks-6-6, Zhejiang 173, px079, and js49-6. . For the three rice blast disease-causing populations in the Yangtze River Basin, za49, ze3, and zg1 also showed intermediate resistance. In contrast, the control Shanyou 63 exhibited a high sense of susceptibility to the above bacterial leaf blight strains. Zg1 showed resistance to rice blast fungus. Yueyou 938 was cultivated in Nanjing as a single-season rice plant and planted at the beginning of May. The whole growth period was 147-150 days, which was about 7 days later than Shanyou 63. For early rice cultivation in Guangzhou, the whole growth period was 137-140 days, which was 6-8 days longer than that of Shanyou 63. In late-season rice cultivation in Guangzhou, the whole growth period was 145-147 days, which was about 5 days later than Shanyou 63. After years of experimentation, the combination can be safely headed and used in the Yangtze River basin and South China and other mid-season japonica rice areas suitable for planting Shanyou 63. High-yielding cultivation techniques are used for precision seeding and timely transplanting. From April 25th to May 5th, seeds are soaked with pesticides. The amount of seed used in the field is 1.0-1.5kg/667m2, and the seeding volume of the field is controlled by transplanting seedlings with 1 or 2 tillers as the standard.
