In order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the National Initiation Meeting for the Evaluation of Soil Testing and Formula Fertilization Effects, we will scientifically and objectively evaluate the implementation results of soil testing and fertilizer application projects in Yunnan for four years. From August 4th to August 14th, Yunnan Province organized Yunnan Agricultural University Prof. Mao Kunming, Director of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Director of the Sailing Department of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, respectively, were the team leader’s research team for Lianghe County in Dehong Prefecture, Longyang District in Baoshan City, Xundian County in Kunming City, Jingdong County in Puer City, and Lijiang City Winning County and Huaning County of Yuxi City carried out the special investigation and evaluation of soil testing and fertilizer application.
He Xiaobin, deputy director of Yunnan Soil Fertilizer Work Station, followed the investigation. According to the “Regional Control, Randomly Equidistant Sampling†method, the research team took three townships in each county, and two villages in each township. Eight villagers in each village were selected to conduct interviews, and the county’s soil and fertilizer stations and township farmers were selected. Technical stations, township and township fertilizer distributors and village officials conducted questionnaire surveys. On the basis of careful analysis, the research team will form the "Evaluation Report on the Implementation of the Soil Testing, Formulated Fertilizer Subsidy Project in Yunnan Province" to the Ministry of Agriculture.
