In early 2007, Huang Jun of Yizhang County newly dug a 700-square-meter, 1.5-meter-thick pond 50 meters before the original 200-square-meter shed. The source of the water is the surface water that flows down the northern slopes when it rains. At the beginning, the family washed and washed vegetables in this pond, and also planted black algae, duckweed, etc., to be used as goose fodder. Since the breeding geese started production, they can only be housed in geese, sports grounds and reservoirs. Since then, each breed of geese has consumed about 1.5 kilograms of compound feed and green feed every day, and has a defecation of urine of 1.5 kilograms, of which about half is in ponds (the slope on the north side of the pond is about half a mu. In the playground, geese on the playground also rushed into the pool when it rained. In this way, over a period of 10 months, there are 10.35 tons of goose droppings. Calculated on 700 square meters, there are 15 cm thick goose droppings in the pond.

As a result, aquatic plants in the pond disappeared, and the fish in the geese raised less than half a month on the flooded pond. The water quality gradually became brown, emitting a stench. Immediately afterwards, E.coli disease and salmonellosis of breeding geese were repeated and repeated. After sampling and testing, there are as many as 1600 E. coli per milliliter of water and 1,450 Salmonella, and the geese constantly drink such water every day. Please note that the "Standard for Drinking Water Quality of Livestock and Poultry" requires no more than 3 E. coli bacteria per liter of water.

Since large waterfowl such as geese must be mated on the surface of the water, the male penis is contaminated and inflamed after mating, so that it cannot be retracted to the cloaca (commonly known as â€œdropping the whipâ€) and loses its ability to breed. After the penis has E. coli and other pathogenic bacteria, it is brought into the cloac of the geese through the mating, the fallopian tube, or the cloaca is opened when the geese are mated. The case of â€œegg pupaâ€ (wheat pheasant peritonitis) is caused by contamination with dirty water. In many cases, although the long-term treatment, the cure rate is not high, most of them out of pain.

The pollution of the pond is becoming more and more serious. The accumulation of nitrogen and phosphorus in goose dung and the breeding of living creatures in the pond acidify the pond water. Acidic substances dissolve the oil glands on the feathers of the goose and cause them to lose their floating capacity. The geese often do not want to launch water. Forced to rush the water (in order to facilitate breeding), the goose went down one by one, leaving only the head, neck and tail floating on the water. The geese hurriedly came ashore and the feathers quit for a long time, like falling chicken.

Soon, a brown-red or brown-green cyanobacteria bloom formed on the surface of the water.

This geese farm, how many goslings are produced in the first year of production? The boss did not say that the master responsible for hatching was four or five thousand. In other words, a female goose only produces 10 goslings a year.

At the same time, nearly 460 other species of geese were introduced at the same time as Huang Jun. They were raised in the reservoir at the end of a 300-mu reservoir in Xintian County. The water quality was very clean. In 2009, this geese farm had 383 female geese, 29,517 eggs, and 20,660 goose seedlings.
