Not suitable for eating and drinking on an empty stomach

For the possible adverse effects of eating and drinking on an empty stomach, we hereby summarize some foods that are not suitable for fasting.

garlic

Garlic contains allicin, fasting garlic, will cause strong irritation of gastric mucosa, intestinal wall, easily cause gastrointestinal spasm, cramps.

cold drink

Eating a lot of cold drinks in the fasting state will stimulate contraction of the gastrointestinal tract and induce gastrointestinal diseases.

Persimmons and tomatoes

These two kinds of food contain more pectin, tannic acid, chemical reaction with gastric acid to generate gel-like mass, easy to form stomach stones.

Hawthorn and oranges

These two foods contain a lot of organic acids, fruit acids, behenic acid and so on.
