Feed fats include cow fat, pig fat, oil foot, bone oil, corn oil, peanut oil, soybean oil, and palm oil. The ratio of animal fats and vegetable fats and oils is preferably 50% each, or 1:2.

I. Application of added oil in pig production

Piglets prefer to feed on fat-added feeds. Generally, the amount of dietary supplement is 5-8%, which can increase the weight gain by about 10%. Adding 5% fat to the sow during late pregnancy, the piglet survival rate can be close to 100%. 10-30% of fat is added to lactating sow feed. Fats in fattening pigs are added with 3%-5% of fat, 12-15% of weight gain, and 8-10% of feed utilization.

Second, animal oil added technology

The process of adding animal fats and oils is divided into four processes: heating, metering, pressurization and injection.

(I) Heating: Use a 3kw electric heater to insert the oil barrel for preheating to make the animal fat from a solid state into a liquid state. Each barrel takes about one hour and the oil temperature reaches 50-70°C.

(b) Manual measurement: Accuracy is required.

(III) Pressurization: The hot oil passes through a 1.5BA-6 type oil pump and the pressure is 1.7kg/cm2, and is pressed into the fuel injection tank.

(D) Injection: Two injection pipes are directly inserted into the mixer. The diameter of the injection hole is 1.5mm, a total of 150, while the injection of oil, the total injection area of ​​265mm2. The ratio of the pump outlet area to the injection hole area is 3.84:1 in order to increase the injection intensity and the injection time is 30 s.

Third, add oil precautions

(1) Ensure the quality of grease and prevent oxidation and denaturation of grease. Moldy, contaminated grease cannot be used.

(b) In the preservation process, it is necessary to add antioxidants to prevent rancidity. The commonly used antioxidants are BHT (dibutylhydroxymethylbenzene) and BHA (butylhydroxyanisole).

(3) Attention should be paid to the elimination of the deficiency of proteins and essential amino acids caused by the addition of oils and fats.

(d) The amount of oil to be added is to be based on test parameters. As the price of oil continues to fall, it is practical to add 1-2% of fat to the formulation of pigs in the early stage of the market, taking into account the market trend of pigs. During the sow feeding stage, adding different sources of fats to the feed will improve the sow's milk quality, improve the pig's performance, improve the sow's body condition, and shorten the weaning estrus interval.

(E) Toxins such as castor oil, tung oil, cottonseed oil, rapeseed oil, and sesame oil cannot be used for the addition. Whale oil and fish oil in general often reduce oil quality and cannot be applied.
