Fresh peach storage skills

Fresh peaches have a short shelf life and are perishable. If the following preservation methods are adopted, the period of supply of fresh peaches can be extended and the economic benefits can be increased.
1. Non-injury harvesting, graded packaging. To determine the ripeness of peach fruit, first, after the fruit is fully developed, the peel begins to fade green, and the flesh is slightly harder. When the colored variety is basically full, it is hard mature. The second is when the fruit's background is green or pale green, and the fruit-face hairs begin to color when they grow seventy-eight years old. Hard maturities and ripe fruits of 78 are more resistant to storage and long-distance transportation. Due to inconsistent maturity of the peach, the general variety requires 2 to 3 harvests. When harvesting, it is necessary to prevent crushing and stabbing. The fruit should be taken with a handle. Harvesting at low temperature in the morning is good. With the treatment, the fruits with residual, injury, inferior quality, malformation, and dirt will be sorted and packed according to the size and grade. The commonly used packaging capacity is 5kg to 10kg, box liner or polyfoam, and high-grade fruit foam nets. Handle with care during handling, gently unload gently to prevent bruising.
2. Keep fresh, prevent rot. Peach is susceptible to brown rot, soft rot, penicillium and green mold during storage. You can use sec-butylamine series of anti-corrosion preservatives to kill Penicillium and chloromycin. Commonly used querazole 15 times liquid (fruit washing), per kg of peach with 100 to 200 mg of benzene and 450 to 900 mg of dichloronitroaniline (DCNA) mixture (dip fruit). When washing fruit or dipping fruit, the dispensing should use clean water. After the fruit is soaked, the fruit surface will evaporate and then be packaged.
3. Choose the environment, temperature storage. The suitable temperature for storing peach fruit is 0~3°C, and the temperature of medium and early-maturing varieties is slightly higher. Such as white flowers, saffron peach storage temperature of 1 ~ 2 °C, winter snow peach, Chinese peach, winter peach refrigerated temperature of 0.5 ~ 1 °C. Because peach fruit is more sensitive to low temperature, long storage time at 0°C can easily cause chilling injury. In order to prevent chilling damage, it adopts facilities with high temperature control accuracy or intermittent heating and cooling methods. That is, the fruit was first stored at 0°C for 1 to 4 weeks, then warmed to 18 to 20°C for 2 days, and then stored at 0°C. Choose automatic cold storage on-hook, the temperature control accuracy is 0°C, the cooling rate is fast, the temperature of the warehouse is even, and the cooling and heating can be adjusted automatically according to the need, which can reduce or avoid the cold injury.
When storing peach, the suitable oxygen concentration is 1%~3%; the carbon dioxide concentration is 4%~5%. When storing peaches in physiological bags, the carbon dioxide concentration is less than 8% and oxygen is 5% to 14%. Check regularly after storage. Short-term storage of peach fruit is observed once a day, and inspection is performed every 3 to 5 days for medium and long-term storage.
