When applying pesticides during the rainy season, it’s important to spray when there is no rain expected. If rain occurs within 24 hours after application, it is advisable to reapply the pesticide at a slightly reduced concentration to maintain effectiveness without overuse.
Another key technique is mixing the pesticide with adjuvants to improve its adhesion to plant surfaces. Commonly used adjuvants include soybean powder, polyvinyl alcohol, and leather glue. These additives help the pesticide stick better to leaves and stems, enhancing its overall performance and prolonging its activity on the crop.
