Dry and wet method for transporting fresh shrimp is simple and efficient

Dry and wet shrimp transport is simple, easy to transport, large transport volume, low cost, and good survival rate, but is only suitable for short-distance transportation of commercial shrimp in the cold season. Shrimp kits can be used with crab seed boxes, food containers, or other containers that have a large bottom area for easy stacking. Crab box general specifications for the 60 cm x 33 cm x 12 cm, with fir frame, iron screen as the bottom, around the open window is better, easy to ventilate and spray. Food containers have holes around them. Other containers require better ventilation. Put brown slices, loofahs or sponges on the bottom of the crab seed box or food turnover box, sprinkle with clean water, and put a thin layer of live shrimp on it for loading and unloading. Spray water once every 30 minutes on the way to maintain a constant humidity. Sprinkle with clean river water and lake water on the way. Pay attention to the weather forecast before transportation. In the event of strong winds, heavy rain, heavy passengers and snow, do not catch and transport.

Before transport, it can be raised. The main purpose of holdings is to gather a certain amount of green shrimp to reduce the number of shipments. Short-lived, optional cages are available. The cages are placed in river ditch or lake with flat bottom, hard mud, slow water flow, good water quality, leeward sun, and water depth of more than 2 meters. For long-term holding time, the pool size can be selected to be suitable. The well should be dredged and cleared in advance. For convenience of transportation, it is better for the pool to be close to the water source and road.

At higher temperatures, it must be transported with water. Canvas bag water is generally used, with aeration equipment. For every 100 kilograms of water, 10 kilograms of shrimp are shipped. After catching the shrimp, it is immediately put into a canvas bag, and operations are performed with a small fishing cane or a shrimp tube. After the shrimps are detached from the water, they die faster, so the transport time should not exceed 24 hours. Short-distance transportation (within 3 hours) can also be transported by buckets. Several mud louses can be placed in the buckets, and the mud can move up and down to increase oxygen.
