**Abstract:**
The "Delselaket" variety exhibits strong growth potential, excellent resistance, superior fruit quality, and high yield. It is suitable for cultivation in northern regions, arch sheds, semi-conductive greenhouses, and southern areas, making it a promising alternative to traditional varieties. This variety has a strong market demand, both for fresh consumption and processing, but the key to maintaining its quality lies in non-toxic seedling production.
**1. Introduction of the Delselaket Variety**
Delselaket is a premium European strawberry variety developed by the French Dapeng Seedling Company in 1995. It was first introduced to China in 1997 by the Baoding Strawberry Research Institute. The institute established Baoding Taida Agriculture Co., Ltd., and collaborated with Dapeng to conduct large-scale non-toxic seedling propagation. Since 1999, original seedlings have been imported directly from France, following international standards, and officially promoted for commercial use. By 2004, the planting area exceeded 30,000 mu, covering Qingyuan, Tangxian, and Zhengding counties. Two batches of seedlings were even exported to South Korea, marking a breakthrough in Hebei’s strawberry seedling exports. In 1999, a joint venture agreement with Dapeng was signed, accelerating the modernization and industrialization of strawberry cultivation in China.
**2. Study on the Biological and Cultivation Characteristics of Delselaket**
**2.1 Materials and Methods**
- **Test Varieties:** Delselaket (first-generation seedlings from French imports), Tutra and Catuno (original seedlings introduced alongside), Allstar and Fengxiang (main local varieties).
- **Seedling Standards:** Stems over 0.6 cm in diameter, with more than 10 roots.
- **Test Sites:** Baoding Taida Agricultural Corporation Yuzhuang Experimental Base, with follow-up studies in Qingyuan, Tangxian, Zhengding, and Guangdong.
- **Cultivation Types:** Open fields (with plastic cover in winter), arch sheds, and greenhouses. Each treatment was repeated three times over two years, with planting in late August.
**2.2 Results and Analysis**
(Tables 1–5 are referenced but not included here.)
**Key Findings:**
- **Growth Habits:** Delselaket has thick stems, vigorous growth, large leaves, and a well-developed root system. Fruits are long conical, dark red, firm, and flavorful, with high sugar content (8–12%, up to 16%).
- **Yield:** Average yield ranges from 300–500 g per plant, with 2000–4000 kg per mu. Fruit size remains consistent, making it ideal for commercial harvesting.
- **Maturity:** Medium-early maturity, with open-field harvest about a week earlier than Allstar, and greenhouse harvest 10–15 days earlier.
- **Resilience:** Strong adaptability to climate and soil, resistant to common diseases like gray mold and powdery mildew. However, self-propagated seedlings after three years show reduced vigor, lower yields, and increased susceptibility to disease.
**Cultivation Recommendations:**
1. Delselaket is ideal for open fields, arch sheds, and semi-conductive greenhouses in northern China, serving as a top replacement for Allstar. Expansion of planting is encouraged to meet market demand.
2. Non-toxic seedlings are essential for maintaining quality and safety. They promote stronger growth, better resistance, and higher yields.
3. Early spring introduction of original seedlings and separate nursery fields help reduce costs and ensure non-toxic production. Avoid transplanting during hot months to minimize stress.
4. Optimal planting density: 5000–6500 plants per mu in open fields and arch sheds; 7000–10000 plants per mu in greenhouses. Use organic manure and limit nitrogen fertilizer.
5. In greenhouses, avoid early covering. Plant between late November and mid-December, with harvest starting in early March to ensure optimal sugar content.
6. Apply 0.2% magnesium sulfate 2–3 times before and after fruit coloring to maintain fruit color and luster.
7. Successful trials in southern provinces like Guangdong, Guizhou, and Sichuan show that Delselaket thrives there, especially when grown with non-toxic seedlings. Its quality is highly valued in markets such as Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
In conclusion, Delselaket is a high-quality, versatile strawberry variety with strong market potential. Proper non-toxic seedling management and appropriate cultivation practices are crucial for maximizing its benefits and ensuring sustainable development in both northern and southern regions.
Pelvic Plate
Due to the irregular characteristics of the pelvic structure, the choice of internal fixation is diverse.
For patients separated symphysis pubis, a 2 or 4 holes, 4.5 or 3.5mm diameter dynamic compression plate or reconstruction plate can be used and fixed with full-thread cancellous bone screws.Another method of fixation is lag screw fixation. In patients with new sacroiliac joint dislocation with a forward approach, firm fixation can be achieved by using 2holes 3.5mm dynamic compression plates through the front of the sacroiliac joint. The posterior approach can also be used to insert 6.5mm lag screws into the sacral wings or hollow cancellous bone screws with interosseous compression for firm internal fixation. If available, the fracture may be fixed with 3.5mm or 4.5mm pelvic reconstruction plates and appropriate full-thread cancellous bone screws.
