A blank canvas waiting for its story
It's Sunday once again, and you know what that means—time for one of my favorite rituals... Sunday Citar! Citar, in Spanish, means "to quote," and this is where we gather to share the words that resonate most with us this week—whether they're inspiring, funny, or tear-jerking. They could be lines from books, lyrics from songs, or even something someone said that stuck with you.

Each week, we create a space to pause and reflect on the beauty of language and the power of words. So, let's dive in together and celebrate the art of quoting!

A cozy living room filled with sunlight streaming through the windows

"When I grow up, I want to remember that I always wanted to be about a thousand different things and one lifetime didn’t seem nearly enough. When I grow up, I hope it’s at the very end when it doesn’t matter anymore anyway."
~Storypeople

Some days, the simplest joys are found in the littlest things—a swing set at the park, a walk through an unfamiliar neighborhood, or even just watching clouds drift by. These moments remind us that life isn't always about grand gestures but rather savoring the everyday magic around us.

Other days, though, are all about staying in, wrapped up in the comfort of home. There's something undeniably cozy about curling up under blankets with a good book or movie while外面 the rain patters against the window. Whether we're exploring new places or cozying up indoors, both experiences bring their own kind of joy.

Even the mundane can feel magical when shared with loved ones. Mornings spent chasing after toddlers racing toy cars across the floor hold just as much charm as those quiet moments sipping coffee while watching the sunrise. Sometimes, the best memories aren't planned—they happen naturally when we allow ourselves to slow down and embrace the present moment.

Today, we traded responsibilities outside for some quality family time inside. We whipped up pancakes for breakfast (even though technically it was brunch), re-discovered old books tucked away on shelves, and giggled over silly jokes told by the kids. The highlight? An impromptu bath time session that turned the entire bathroom into a sudsy wonderland. My little ones splashed around happily, laughing until their cheeks hurt, creating a chaos that felt strangely beautiful.

When I grow up, I hope to carry forward these simple yet profound moments in my heart.
