8 measures to prevent stomach cancer

8 measures to prevent stomach cancer

(1) Eat less or not eat pickles

Pickles contain large amounts of nitrites and secondary amines. They can synthesize nitrosamines in the stomach under the action of suitable acidity or bacteria. These compounds are very powerful carcinogens. Therefore, food should be fresh and promote refrigerator.

(2) Do not eat or eat less smoked and fried foods

Smoked fish and smoked meat contain a large number of carcinogens, such as 3-4 benzopyrene and aromatic hydrocarbons. Fried foods such as fried, baked, charred foods and re-used high-temperature edible oils also contain such carcinogens and should be consumed as little as possible.

(3) Do not eat mildewed food

In daily life, moldy foods are often encountered. Mildew is caused by molds. Some of the molds are toxin-producing fungi. They are strong carcinogens. At the same time, certain foods produce a large amount of sub-adults under the action of toxigenic fungi. Nitrate and secondary amines enter the body under certain conditions, the stomach can synthesize nitrosamines and cause cancer.

(4) No smoking, less alcohol

There is also a certain relationship between smoking and gastric cancer. Smoke contains various carcinogenic or cancer-promoting substances such as benzopyrene, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and dibenzocazazole, which is one of the causes of esophageal cancer and gastric cancer. Although alcohol itself is not a carcinogen, alcohol can stimulate the gastric mucosa, injure the mucosal tissue, and promote the absorption of carcinogenic substances. If drinking alcohol while smoking, the harm is greater. Because alcohol enhances the permeability of cell membranes, it enhances the absorption of carcinogens in smoke.

(5) To develop good eating habits

If diet is irregular, overeating, or eating too fast, it is a damaging stimulus to the stomach and has a certain relationship with the occurrence of gastric cancer. At the same time, salt intake is large, sulking during meals is also related to stomach cancer.

(6) Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits

Eat more foods containing vitamins A, B, and E, and properly increase protein intake to protect the gastric mucosa.

(7) Health protection of edible water

Because contaminated water sources contain a variety of carcinogenic metal ions, regular tap water must be used and well water should be used in rural areas.

(8) Active treatment of precancerous lesions

Atrophic gastritis has a close relationship with gastric cancer, which is a precancerous lesion; gastric cancer with malignant transformation of stomach ulcer accounts for 5-10%; stomach multiple adenomatous polyps have a more common cancer than single-segmented polyps, and polyps more than 2cm in diameter display Malignant tendencies; pernicious anemia and gastric cancer also have a certain relationship. Therefore, people suffering from atrophic gastritis, gastric ulcer, multiple adenomatous polyps of the stomach, and pernicious anemia must often go to the hospital for examination and treatment to eliminate precancerous lesions and prevent the occurrence of gastric cancer.
